Requirements:
Organizational abilities, fluent spoken and written English, valid driving licence and prove of previous skills in driving, flexibility and strong communication skills to manage and work well in a team, good orientation in Chengdu and Sichuan, ability to work with computer, Chinese citizenship
Job characteristics:
The main task will be to assist Consulate with contacting local institutions, administrating different aspects of Consulate agenda, driving for Consulate and help in organising shopping for the Consulate, help in organizing invitations for events, conference services at social, cultural or business events at the Consulate and so on.
On temporarily or ad hoc basis, written translation of correspondence from Chinese to English and vice-versa may be required as well as ad hoc interpretation on working level. Working hours 42,5 hours per week. Need for over-time work may occur. In that case extra leave can be provided upon agreement. Three month probation.
